Bye Bye Boobies

Have you ever had one of those nights where you truly don't want it to end ... and not just to avoid the hangover the next day? We just did.

A couple of weeks ago Dani decided she wanted one last night out with "the girls". Pun intended. Yes, we had a going away party for her boobs. In true Dani style, she brought her laugh-at-life humour to the situation and we appropriately named the night "Bye Bye Boobies".

Everyone showed up. Seventeen girls. Seventeen. Now let's get one thing straight: I'm not good with that much estrogen. I normally need penises around to balance things out.

While we were all from different circles - work, high school, gym, etc. - we all shared one thing in common: love for our good friend. And that love brought us all together.

Going into the evening I was worried what it might bring. Alcohol + high emotions usually ends up in sob fests. But surprisingly that didn't happen. There was nothing but laughter and dancing and partying like we were rock stars. There may have been a motor boat or two as well.

Towards the end of the night we were down a soldier. Chantally somehow got kicked out. The rational thing to do would have been to gather our things and leave the bar. Rational does not exist when you've been downing Jagerbombs all night. Four drunk chicks trying to convince a bouncer to let their girl back in is never a good thing. We were the next to go. A few minutes later Dani gets a text for Chantal:

"Hey - where are you guys? I'm on the dance floor :) :) :)"

All signs of a perfect night.
