Hands clapping giddy

I'm not one to gloat. I get more satisfaction out of recognizing others than being recognized myself. What happened to me today, however, has me doing the happy dance still six hours later. Maybe it's not a big deal to some but I am elated.

Today one of the ultimate communications gurus, Lucy van Oldenbarnev from CBC News Ottawa tweeted me. And it wasn't just some little tweet. For me it was astounding.

Since I have never met Lucy I wasn't sure how to thank her appropriately for making my day. Hopefully this will suffice - until I can thank her in person. To know that you've read my blog is one thing; to know that you enjoy it is kickass.
